CNH FieldOps: Enabling Farm Management at your Fingertips
March 12, 2025 Agriculture Spotlight

It’s new, intuitive, powerful, secure and it’s free.

FieldOps is the web-based platform and mobile  app from CNH that gives farmers the ability to  visualize and manage their business throughout  the growing season and beyond.  “It’s a gamechanger because it gives farmers  autonomy,” said Kris Drysdale, Manager  Precision Technology Support at Rocky  Mountain Equipment. “You can manage your  whole business on the platform, short of  grain marketing.”

Powered by machine telematics data from  Case IH and New Holland equipment,  farmers can also add agronomic field data  as well as data from equipment from other  brands. By adding agronomic information,  farmers can use the FieldOps platform to  generate insights not only over the season, but  also over multiple seasons as needed.

FieldOps is free and does not require a  subscription. The mobile app is now available  for download on the iOS App Store and  Android Play Store.

FLEET MONITORING ON ANOTHER LEVEL

Case IH and New Holland equipment telematics  are automatically uploaded to the platform,  which includes real-time position monitoring,  CAN data, maps and location, usage, fuel rates  and more so farmers can monitor the health and  performance of their fleet.

FieldOps also has a remote display view, which  gives users access to the in-cab screen to  provide support to operators wherever they may  be, allowing for more efficient troubleshooting  when needed.

When you purchase CaseIH or New Holland  Equipment at your local RME, field staff include  a showcase and sit-down training of the  FieldOps platform as part of our equipment  walkthrough. RME can also transfer data from  your old equipment to your new equipment all  through the FieldOps platform.

While only the users of an account can see their  own agronomic data, fault monitoring and critical  equipment alerts will be sent to your local RME  dealer to help keep your equipment running  smoothly and eliminate machine down time.

“We’re excited about using FieldOps so that  we can service customers better at RME,” said  Drysdale. “We have created our own sandbox  on FieldOps to highlight the capabilities of the  platform and to help optimize our field staff.  We can advise customers on their entire CNH  equipment lineup and equipment performance,  even machine to machine comparisons based  on the insights that FieldOps provides.”

AGRONOMIC DATA BOOSTS INSIGHTS

By having the ability to upload agronomic data,  farmers can connect growing information with  data about their machines to provide a full  picture of what is happening out int the field.  Information gathered throughout the season  can be overlaid with equipment information  through the platform’s extensive visualization capabilities, which makes FieldOps a robust tool for precision agriculture. The wide range  of information that can be added to FieldOps  includes soil sampling data, protein analysis,  field maps and more.

“It’s automatic record keeping. Imagine having a  fail-safe platform for your data,” said Drysdale.  He likens FieldOps to an information vault,  that not only can farmers have while they are  operating the farm, but can potentially pass on  as part of their succession plans.

GETTING STARTED ON FIELDOPS

RME customers will receive training on FieldOps  as part of the purchase of any new CNH  equipment. However, farmers can also come  to their local RME to have the most current  telematics or connectivity function enabled on  their Case IH and New Holland machines.

RME Precision staff can walk customers  through the capabilities of FieldOps. Our field  staff have been trialing the different features  of FieldOps using various equipment at our  dealerships, to give customers real-world  examples of the platform at work.

Farmers can get started with FieldOps through  their current CaseIH or MyNewHolland  accounts to create a FieldOps account. The  platform also has a built-in training course for  new users. The interface is user-friendly both on the desktop version and on the mobile app.

At RME, we’re looking forward to helping  customers get onboarded and unlock the  potential of FieldOps for your farm operations.  Contact your local RME to learn more about  FieldOps.
