RME Employee Spotlight – Kevin Rach Winkler, MB

 

RME is committed to providing reliable and consistent service to both the agriculture and construction industries, from ensuring customers have the equipment they need to get the job done, to keeping their equipment in top shape for maximum efficiency out in the field.

RME Winkler’s very own Kevin Rach is amongst the RME Sales team who work hard to ensure farmers are up to date on the latest Case IH equipment and technologies available to them.

Beginning his journey with RME in March 2017, Kevin brought with him a lifetime of agriculture experience having grown up on a farm with Case IH equipment.

“Kevin cares about each person he talks to and truly wants the best for each of them,” said fellow RME Ag Equipment Sales Consultant Jesse Rempel. “He desires to learn about their operation and see how he can fit what RME has to offer into their business. He will not stop until he has done all he can to ensure the farmer is satisfied.”

When Kevin first began at RME, he thought the position would involve just selling equipment, however, he has since learned there is much more to it than that.

“I find relationship building, getting to know the customers’ wants and needs and them as a person, are just as important as knowing what they need as far as farm equipment goes”

Kevin said it’s not just the customers who make the day-to-day exciting, it’s also teaching the next generation of Ag Equipment Sales Consultants.

“I like being able to help upcoming sales consultants as they move into the role and show them the upside of the job,” said Kevin.

According to coworker Jesse, Kevin spends countless hours working with new members of the Sales team to help them succeed.

“Whether a fellow salesman is trying to make a sale, or it’s a service tech trying to reach a goal, Kevin will be there encouraging them, helping them, and celebrating along the way. He will try to look on the bright side and when new sales consultants get down about not having instant success, he will say his catchphrase, ‘It’s a marathon, not a sprint.’”

Not only does Kevin do but also does by being so supportive of fellow staff within his branch. RME is proud to have someone like Kevin a part of the team!
