RegisterSheldon Chamberlin’s nearly two decades at Rocky Mountain Equipment (RME) have been dedicated to one clear goal: ensuring customer success. From his start as a branch manager to his current role as Vice President of Case IH Sales, he has remained unwavering in his commitment to meeting the needs of RME’s customers.
Growing up on his family’s farm in Saskatchewan, Chamberlin was immersed in agriculture from an early age. It was there that he learned the importance of hard work and experienced firsthand the entrepreneurial drive of his father, who also owned and operated two different equipment dealerships, one specializing in Case IH equipment. Inspired by his father’s passion for the industry, Chamberlin pursued a degree in business administration and economics, which led him to RME in 2007. Over the years, he has taken on a variety of roles across the company, each strengthening his ability to provide customers with the solutions they need.
Chamberlin’s deep connection to agriculture fuels his customer-focused approach. Drawing on his firsthand experience of farming and his expertise with agricultural equipment, he strives to create tailored solutions that offer practical value. “Helping customers find the right solutions for their operations is one of the most enjoyable parts of the business,” he explains.
His enthusiasm for the industry extends beyond customer relationships. Chamberlin remains deeply inspired by the rapid growth of innovative agricultural technologies and their potential to revolutionize farming. “The industry is always changing, and people may not realize how much technology there actually is in agriculture. It’s exciting,” he says. This excitement drives his mission to ensure RME customers can take full advantage of these advancements.
Chamberlin’s dedication is grounded in his personal connection to the industry. He continues to farm near Regina, using Case IH equipment regularly. This hands-on experience enhances his ability to understand the needs of RME’s customers on a deeper level. “It keeps me active in the agricultural community and offers a better understanding of the equipment. I’m very fortunate to be on both sides of the equation,” he says.
