RME Community Investment – RME Supports Farm Safety Programming
May 8, 2018

In 2011, Rocky Mountain Equipment (RME) partnered with a group of agricultural, corporate, and rural- based organizations and found Agriculture for Life (Ag for Life) – a charitable organization, basedin Alberta, dedicated to building awareness and understanding of the industry through the delivery of agriculture education and safety programming.

At RME, we believe Ag for Life’s message is truly important. The safety of families in rural communities is a responsibility that our company takes very seriously. The vast majority of RME’s nearly

1,000 employees live in the same communities as our customers. By supporting Ag for Life, we are able to support programs across a much wider spectrum than we would otherwise be able to address, from safe equipment procedures to roll- over safety and more.

Equally vital through this partnership is the goal of furthering an appreciation for the importance of agriculture. RME sees the business of agriculture as having an impact on our society in the form of preserving our agricultural heritage, on our economy, through Canada’s contribution to global food markets, and to our environment, in finding ways to ensure our land will continueto feed the world’s population across future generations.

In 2017, Ag for Life’s programs reached over 60,000 Albertans.

Our involvement underscores our commitment to our most important assets – our people, our customers and their communities.
