RME is dedicated to demonstrating ‘Right by You’ across the communities we serve in Alberta, Manitoba and Saskatchewan. Launching in May 2021, the RME Right by You Ag Society Grant will be accepting applications from agricultural societies across the three Prairie provinces to fund various project initiatives. One of our goals has always been to partner with and provide support when needed to the agricultural communities where we live and work.

Local agricultural societies are fundamental in supporting youth programs, clubs, activities and are an integral part of our rural communities. They consistently provide opportunities to help strengthen and enhance the lives of those living in their local area and beyond.

“At RME, our business is based in rural communities and we are committed to supporting the areas which we serve,” says Jim Wood, Chief Sales and Operations Officer. “Ag societies have long been a cornerstone of their communities and we want to support their efforts, not only during the economic challenges they currently face, but into the future as well. The RME Right by You Ag Society Grant will give that opportunity to multiple societies across Western Canada.”

The RME Right by You Ag Society Grant program will award four grants of $10,000 each. Additional details and applications will be available online in early May at rockymtn.com/AgSociety-Grant. Agricultural societies in Alberta, Manitoba and Saskatchewan are welcome to apply for funding towards eligible projects—where support is needed to enhance the lives of community residents—that will be completed within two years of receiving funding. Successful applicants will be announced on September 30, 2021.
