Garrett Ganden, President and CEO of Rocky Mountain Equipment (RME), is at the forefront of the company’s growth, leveraging his expertise and passion for delivering an exceptional customer experience. What fuels his success? According to Ganden, it’s the dedication and collective efforts of the people working within RME.

Having grown up in southern Alberta with a small family farm, Ganden’s connection to agriculture runs deep. After earning an accounting management degree from the University of Lethbridge, he joined Hammer Equipment Sales—a precursor to RME. Since then, his career has been intertwined with the company’s evolution.

Ganden took on the role of Chief Operating Officer in early 2011, leading the company through its transition to a public entity and its subsequent privatization. Now, as CEO, since 2015, he oversees the operations of 44 RME locations across Alberta, Saskatchewan, and Manitoba. Under his leadership, RME has become a trusted partner for customers across the Canadian Prairies, offering high-quality products and dependable service. Ganden emphasizes one key goal in RME’s customer support strategy, “How do we make sure we can take care of them regardless of where they are?”

At the core of Ganden’s leadership philosophy is empowering RME’s team of over 1,000 employees to embody the company’s values. He focuses on strategies that enhance RME’s ability to deliver exceptional support to customers and manufacturers alike. “We’re right there with you, shoulder to shoulder, no matter the challenges you’re facing.
